After the failure of the mixed joint commission early March, the draft of the Energy Transition law is back on track for a parliamentary review (next stop : the National Assembly).

It is a good opportunity to bring some badly needed coherence to this decisive text. The Shift Project intends to pursue its dialogue with Parliamentarians in support of low-carbon choices. In a previous article, we highlighted some positive points that came out during the debate.

We are very pleased that the Senate adopted an amendment to reduce the nuclear share under the one condition that “France’s energy independence would be preserved” and that “it would not lead to an increase of the greenhouse gas emissions”.
